The press reports that many pairs of Ugg boots are flying off the shelves this winter. Invented in Australia and made of sheepskin they have been popular with celebrities including Geri Halliwell, Kate Moss, Jennifer Aniston and Eva Langoria.

In a recent Daily Mail article, The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists spokesman Mike O’Neill says that Uggs do come with their dangers because the foot is not very well supported.
