Society of Chiropodists backs new Sole Matter campaign

Olympic swimmer Karen Pickering is spearheading Sole Matters, a new awareness campaign sponsored by Wartner, a specialist treatment for warts and verrucas.

The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists are backing the Sole Matters campaign, which was launched in May with the aim of urging parents to check their kids' feet for verrucas and to treat them as soon as detected.

Research by Wartner shows the 40 per cent of parents would keep their children away from swimming pools if they discovered a verruca but Karen says:

"Do a sole check, treat the verruca but don't stop you kids from swimming!"
