The FIP World Congress of Podiatry will be held in Copenhagen between the 26 and 28 of May 2007.
"The Federation of Podiatrists (FIP) Congress will be the largest scientific meeting and gathering of podiatrists from across the globe in 2007", says President of FIP Paul Shenton, "It will be a special opportunity to share and exchange knowledge and ideas, to communicate with each other, and to extend the hand of friendship to those in the world who have as one of their highest priorities the access for all people to high quality foot and ankle care".
“No matter what your affiliation or relation to podiatric medicine and from wherever you come, I hope you will take this opportunity to meet with colleagues from all over the globe in May 2007 in Copenhagen and help towards keeping the world on its feet”.
The congress topics include biomechanics/gait analysis, dermatological disorders, footwear, geriatrics, nail disorders, orthotics, paediatrics, podiatric sports injuries, podiatric surgery, prevention, the rheumatoid foot, the diabetic foot and wound management.
FIP invites you to submit an abstract that describes a project, a study or your experiences with podiatry or a related field by 15 October 2006, to be presented orally or on a poster. Your abstract may not exceed 500 words and should be presented in either English or French. Furthermore, abstracts should be sectionalised into Introduction, Method, Results and Conclusion and should be submitted online.
