The Society is very pleased to announce its partnership with Pavers Shoes and Shoe-shop.com. Speaking about the partnership, Lorraine Jones, chair of the marketing and communications committee at the Society, commented: "Pavers Shoes are ideal partners for us. They appreciate the issues that we face as a profession and understand our audiences as many of them are the same as theirs. We believe that this will be a dynamic relationship that will raise the profile of our organisations, increase awareness of foot care and create commercial opportunities across the country."

Stuart Paver, Pavers Shoes’ managing director, said: "Pavers Shoes and the Society share a common issue in relation to relieving foot problems for those people who suffer pain and discomfort with their feet. We are looking forward to undertaking activity nationwide that will promote each other’s products and services in a mutually beneficial way. I am sure that this will be the beginning of a long and successful partnership."

The partnership will initially take the form of the Society providing useful foot health tip cards (see postcard pdfs below) placed in all 88 of Pavers Shoes stores and a regular foot health tip column in the monthly catalogue of Shoe-shop.com, the largest online shoe-store in Europe. By Sponsoring selected footwear leaflets Pavers Shoes will be helping the Society to promote good foot health to a great number of people.

Pavers shoes will also be working closely with Society Members on their range of comfort footwear, l enabling members to recommend specific shoes to their patients that will be of benefit to their feet.
