Call for Papers

Many of you will know that the deadline for submitting an abstract for the 2010 Annual Conference will soon be here. We would like to encourage as many colleagues as possible to submit abstracts for either poster or oral presentation.

Presenting your work at Europe’s largest podiatry conference not only serves to raise the profile of yourself, colleagues and your employing organization, but also highlights new research and developments, and provides a platform for sharing new ideas and initiatives with your peers.

Accepted presentations can help shape the conference agenda by bringing new topics and ways of working to the forefront and stimulating debate.

Submissions are welcome from podiatrists of all levels and backgrounds demonstrating research or practice initiatives in all areas of the profession including diabetes, rheumatology, management, surgery, biomechanics, dermatology, footwear, orthotics and general practice.

To encourage the on-going increase in quality of abstracts, we are delighted to announce the following new awards for 2010:

  • Best poster presentation
  • Best oral presentation
  • Best student poster/oral presentation
  • Best international poster/oral presentation
Each winner will receive a cash prize of £250 and we are also currently in negotiation with JFAR, one of the premier peer-reviewed international podiatry journals, to fast track the most outstanding work to publication.

Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed anonymously by an expert adjudication panel and scored in line with strict criteria.

For further information, guidelines on abstract submission or to submit an abstract please visit https://profile.conference-services.net/authorlogin.asp?conferenceID=2060&language=en-uk or contact the conference organisers on 020 8832 7311
