The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists is the Professional Body and Trade Union for registered podiatrists. Membership is restricted to those qualified for registration and the Society represents around 10,000 private practitioners, NHS podiatrists and students.
The Society monitors standards of undergraduate education and provides opportunties for continuing professional development through its four faculties which are: the Faculty of Undergraduate Education; the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine; the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery and the Faculty of Clinical Administration & Development.
The Society recognises that podiatrists may move between sectors, and provides support at all stages of your career.

By joing the Society you will have access to a podiatry resource solely dedicate to supporting you throughout your professional life as a podiatrist.
Membership of the Society means you have advice and guidance from the leaders of the profession.
We provide podiatry intelligence to all members to keep them abreast of the constant changes in the clinical effectiveness as well as in the law.
